An Accra Circuit Court has warned it will strike out the alleged Mamprobi Hospital baby theft case if the prosecution fails to file its disclosures. The prosecution says efforts to obtain signed witness statements from the complainant, her husband, doctors, nurses, and security personnel have been hampered by delays, with a lawyer representing the hospital requesting a conference with the witnesses before they submit signed statements.

The Ghana Immigration Service secured the conviction of a Nigerian trader, Ada Peace, for human trafficking and immigration offences, resulting in a seven-year prison sentence from an Accra Circuit Court. An Accra Circuit Court hearing the case involving Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC) has ordered the prosecution to file its disclosures within 14 days. The trial judge also addressed concerns raised by defence counsel about the accuracy of court records, describing any alteration of judicial records as potentially amounting to forgery of court proceedings.
