A 35-year-old man was stabbed and critically injured when approximately 30 suspected landguards stormed a government-backed mobile network tower construction site in Awutu Oshimpo, allegedly to halt the project. The telecommunications mast, secured by the local MP to address mobile network dead zones in the area, had the backing of traditional authorities and local youth before the violent confrontation.
