Nana Israel Kwadwo Safo Akofena, at the centre of a succession dispute within the Kristo Asafo Mission, has been arrested and placed in police custody following a shooting that wounded former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo. Police recovered two loaded Glock pistols from his vehicle and additional ammunition from his residence during the investigation.
