Egypt will host the inaugural Alamein Africa Forum on October 2–4, 2026, in New Alamein, a new coastal smart city. The forum, co-organized by Egypt, the African Export-Import Bank, and AUDA-NEPAD, is expected to bring together over 20 African heads of state and government, alongside international leaders, to advance strategic partnerships and investment across Africa's infrastructure, energy, digital transformation, manufacturing, critical minerals, health, and intra-African trade sectors.

Türkiye's exports to Africa reached $13.3 billion in the first seven months of 2026, a 12.6% increase year-on-year, driven by expanding logistics networks and stronger connectivity. Exports to Egypt, South Africa, and Nigeria showed particularly strong growth of 26.1%, 31.3%, and 52.1% respectively.
