Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie has called for stronger collaboration between the judiciary and legal academia, stating that scholarly examination of court judgments is important to strengthen judicial accountability and the rule of law. Speaking at the launch of the Ghana Supreme Court Review and University of Ghana School of Law Book Series, he encouraged scholars and practitioners to approach judicial decisions with intellectual honesty and said court rulings must remain open to academic scrutiny.
