Ga Mantse urges responsibility in Ghana mining management
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II called for a stronger sense of responsibility in managing Ghana's mineral resources, saying mining must be viewed as more than a commercial activity because lands are held in trust for future generations. He said the decision to grant mining concessions carries implications beyond immediate financial returns and places a duty on the present generation to ensure natural resources are not exploited in ways that compromise future generations' inheritance.
