Ghana's non-traditional exports have exceeded US$5 billion, recording about 30 per cent growth over the previous year, according to the Ghana Export Promotion Authority. The GEPA deputy CEO attributed the growth to increased value addition and strong international demand, with cocoa products, cashew, shea, coconut, yam, and mango among top performers.

Ghana's handicrafts sector has recorded approximately 500 per cent growth in exports, becoming the fastest-growing segment in the country's non-traditional export sector, according to the Ghana Export Promotion Authority. The growth reflects rising global demand for Ghanaian cultural products including ornaments, Adinkra-inspired items, paintings and woodcrafts.
