Minority demands Foreign Affairs Minister resign over evacuation funds
Ghana's Parliamentary Minority Caucus has called for the immediate resignation of Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa over alleged financial irregularities in the evacuation of 1,964 Ghanaians from South Africa, citing discrepancies in expenditure records and gaps in supporting documents. The Minority has warned it will request President Mahama to terminate Ablakwa's appointment or initiate a parliamentary vote of censure if he refuses to resign.
