Mahama convenes meeting on border security and narcotics control
President John Mahama has scheduled a high-level meeting for September 17 to discuss strengthening Ghana's border security and preventing the trafficking of narcotic drugs and illicit substances through ports, airports, and land borders. The meeting will bring together key institutions to review vulnerabilities, intelligence-sharing arrangements, cargo screening systems, inter-agency coordination, and technology deployment to disrupt narcotics trafficking.
