The Bank of Ghana reports that the country's banking sector has achieved 73 percent industry-wide compliance with the Sustainable Banking Principles as of September 2025, with all 23 chief executives of commercial banks having voluntarily endorsed the principles and committed to incorporating sustainability into their governance and risk management systems.
