Ghana must invest more in agricultural value addition
Fidelity Bank called for greater investment in processing, storage, packaging, logistics and certification within Ghana's agricultural value chain to increase export earnings and retain more wealth domestically, citing the contrast between cocoa paste earnings (US$789 million in 2025) and nontraditional agricultural exports (US$710 million in 2025) as evidence of the need for value addition beyond production.
