According to Ghana's Statistical Service, monthly occupied room-nights declined from 2.14 million in March to 1.99 million in June 2025, with national room occupancy falling from 41.7 per cent in March to 40 per cent in June, meaning only four out of ten available rooms were occupied on average. Hotels, which account for approximately 71 per cent of available rooms, recorded particularly low occupancy rates ranging from 32.4 per cent to 34.9 per cent during the period.
