Mahama directs creation of Local Government TV platform

The News

President John Dramani Mahama has directed the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs to establish a dedicated Local Government TV platform to broadcast activities of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies. The initiative will facilitate live broadcasts of General Assembly and Town Hall meetings in selected MMDAs, with the goal of increasing citizen participation and keeping residents informed about local governance decisions.
