Nigeria's largest insurer NICON loses licence, enters liquidation
Nigeria's National Insurance Corporation (NICON), the country's largest insurance company established in 1969, has had its operational licence revoked by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) due to persistent failure to meet regulatory requirements. A Receiver and Provisional Liquidator has been appointed to oversee the company's assets and liabilities.
