The solicitor for Osahen Alexander Afenyo-Markin, who filed a defamation suit against Ghana Gold Board CEO Samuel Adu Gyamfi at the High Court in Accra on August 24, 2026, has stated the writ was duly served on Ayine & Partners law firm after they indicated authority to accept service. However, the law firm returned the writ on August 27, 2026, claiming their client had changed his mind, and when the court bailiff attempted personal service at Gyamfi's office, he refused to accept the writ.
