    A 32-year-old security guard has been remanded into custody over the murder of Dr Jesse Amuah, 80, and his wife Elizabeth Esi Amuah, 64, at their Asylum Down residence in Accra on 23 March 2026, following a payment dispute over GH¢1,500. He allegedly concealed their bodies in a septic tank and fled to Dubai but was arrested and deported back to Ghana in August 2026 to face trial.
