Confederation of African Football — organizes continental football competitions including AFCON qualifiers, Champions League, and Olympic qualifiers.

CAF has awarded Ghana hosting rights for the 2027 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, the nation's first time staging the tournament since 1999. CAF has scheduled the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers to run from September 2026 to March 2027, with Ghana learning their group opponents in a draw on May 19, 2026. Forty-eight teams will be divided into 12 groups of four, with the top two from each group qualifying for the tournament in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in June–July 2027.
