Kidney patients group urges more dialysis machines at Cape Coast

The News

The Forum for Kidney Patients Association Ghana has called on government and others to urgently provide more dialysis machines at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, the only public dialysis centre in the Central Region, which currently operates five functioning machines serving more than 100 patients. The appeal comes as the centre, which also serves patients from Western, Eastern and Ashanti Regions, can only provide patients about two hours per session instead of the recommended four hours.
