The Ghana Medical Trust Fund has committed GH¢36 million over three years to train specialist healthcare professionals through partnerships with Ghana's medical colleges, aiming to ensure every region has at least three specialist doctors, nurses, and pharmacists within three years. The fund has also launched a nationwide patient support initiative deploying Regional Coordinators and Patient Navigators to improve healthcare access and equity.
