Trade minister urges exporters to meet global quality standards
Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Ghana's Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Minister, has urged Ghanaian exporters to prioritise compliance with global standards and quality requirements, saying increased production alone cannot guarantee success in international markets. She noted that food safety, traceability, certification, packaging, and quality standards are essential for competing under market access arrangements like the African Continental Free Trade Area.
