Six Greater Accra schools pilot waste segregation and clean air initiative
Six Senior High Schools in the Greater Accra Region are piloting the Schools for Clean Air and Waste Segregation (SCAWS) project, led by Impact Footprints Africa with support from the Clean Air Fund and Ghana Education Service, to improve waste segregation, reduce open burning and promote cleaner air. The project, launched at Achimota School on September 7, aims to develop a practical model for scaling to other schools while engaging students, teachers, and school management.
