GIMAT urges parent-school-community collaboration on girls' health
The GIMAT Volunteer Network has called for stronger collaboration between parents, schools and communities to bridge knowledge gaps among girls on reproductive health and development, citing communication gaps that can leave girls vulnerable to misinformation. The organisation held the Biology of the Girl Child Summit at Presbyterian Senior High School in Berekum, bringing together more than 1,500 girls for education on reproductive health, cervical cancer awareness, and character development.
