A survey by Prof Smart Sarpong of Kumasi Technical University in collaboration with Feedback Africa, sampling 9,882 respondents across 156 constituencies, shows former NPP General Secretary John Boadu polling 46.5% in the chairmanship race, ahead of Boakye Agyarko at 24.8%. The survey also places incumbent General Secretary Justin Kodua and lawyer Henry Nana Boakye ahead in their respective races for General Secretary and First Vice Chairman.
