Speaker of Parliament Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has commissioned an expanded dialysis unit at the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa, featuring six new dialysis machines and modern recliners provided in partnership with Sustainable Health Education and Interventions Limited (SHEILD). The initiative aims to reduce preventable kidney deaths and improve access to dialysis treatment for northern Ghanaians who previously had to travel to Kumasi, Tamale, or Accra.
