Ghana Education Trust Fund

Also known as: GETFund

Ghana Education Trust Fund — funds school infrastructure and medical equipment through grants and partnerships, including donations for primary schools and KNUST teaching hospital.

The Ghana Education Trust Fund has awarded GH¢400 million to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for medical equipment at a new teaching hospital, and is mobilising private-sector funding through its Education Finance and Partnership Initiative, including a GH¢2.25 million donation from JOBerg Ghana for classroom and toilet facilities at Afife Roman Catholic Primary School.

Ofori Sarpong commissions 600-bed dormitory for PRESEC

Businessman Ernest Ofori Sarpong on Tuesday commissioned a newly constructed 600-bed dormitory for Presbyterian Boys' Senior High School (PRESEC), his alma mater, to mark his 60th birthday. The project, begun in November 2025, is intended to address congestion at the school, which currently has 6,000 students.
