University Teachers Association of Ghana

The University of Cape Coast Chapter of UTAG has called on the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to refrain from interfering in university affairs and focus on its core mandates of regulation, advisory, coordination, and accreditation. A Senior Member of the Faculty of Law at UCC argued that GTEC's Director-General and staff are legally required to operate within defined mandates and that actions outside that scope would be unlawful.
